Fine Effort by Villalva Not Enough in 10-9 Lighthouse Loss
The Buffalo White Walkers defeated the Long Island Lighthouse, 10-9. Earning player of the game honors was left fielder Oliver Villalva, who went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Buffalo reliever Amberlan Romubio picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Júlio Rodríguez absorbed the loss. Woodward Haberdash finished the game for Buffalo and earned his 24th save.

Buffalo relied on the bat of Je-myung Yu to get the win. The designated hitter produced a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 10-9. For the game, Yu had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Buffalo skipper Chris Lau.
