Patriots Lose, 3-2, at The Voodoo Lounge
|
New Orleans Voodoo starter Sy-ing Tah turned in a sterling performance against the Boston Patriots, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Tah, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Grover Lowdermilk earned his 2nd save in 2 tries.
New Orleans third baseman Richard Jost delivered a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. Overall, he went 3 for 4, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 2.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Tah.
The Voodoo, now 2-0, have played some good baseball in the early going.
