Rocketeers Hammered by Abe, Fall Further Behind in R2040
The Cleveland Browns moved to within one game of the Round 2041 today, downing the Seattle Rocketeers on the road at Boeing Dome by a score of 4-3. Browns right fielder Sadatake Abe was named player of the game after he was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. The win gives the Browns a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2040.

It could have been a different outcome for Cleveland, had it not been for Tom Camden, the 24-year old second baseman . Camden contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Cleveland up, 3-1.

"It feels a lot better to be tied than to be behind, even if it is only one game," Cleveland manager Greg Diersing said.
