Almost There: Chicago On Cusp of R2040 Triumph After 7-3 Win
Chicago left fielder Jonathan Gunner was the key at Silver Sox Park today, being named player of the game as he powered the Silver Sox to victory in a critical Game of the Round 2040. The Silver Sox took the 7-3 win over the Buffalo White Walkers to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Chicago grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and a runner on 2nd, Bren Spillane delivered a 2-run home run, to make it 5-3 in favor of the Silver Sox.

"It feels a lot better to be tied than to be behind, even if it is only one game," Chicago manager Brett Reichert said.
