Raucous Plymouth Quarry Crowd Propels Rocks to 5-0 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Plymouth Rocks knotted up the SL AAA Championship at Plymouth Quarry today, thanks in large part to starter Jesús Fernández. Fernández quieted the Tortolita Drummers, enabling Plymouth to grab the 5-0 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Fernández delivered a quality start for Plymouth. The 6' 2" right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7 innings of work.

Drummers manager Wilson Alvarado did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the SL AAA Championship."

Game 3 is set to be played Saturday, September 24th, 2039 in Tortolita. Slated to start are Melvin Turner for Plymouth and Karl Dandleton for Tortolita.
