Storm Win to Extend Series Lead to 2-0
Riding the 2-hit performance of third baseman Bob Hill, the Syracuse Storm got a road win against the Caldwell Chiefs, 5-4, in Game 2 of the SL A Championship today. Hill went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks for the Storm, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.

It could have been a different outcome for Syracuse, had it not been for Jong-yun Rhee, the 19-year old catcher . Rhee contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Syracuse up, 5-4.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Syracuse manager Theodore Johnston.

The next game is scheduled for Sunday. The scheduled starters for the game are Lance Farmer for the Caldwell Chiefs and Ed Lake for the the Syracuse Storm.
