Almost There: Kingston Township On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 6-0 Win
Facing elimination, the Kingston Township Knights were looking for a savior. For today, at least, Chase Sims delivered.

At The BFIB, the 23-year old pitched a game for the ages to fend off the St. Louis Coeur and help the Knights close their deficit in the Third League Championship. Sims threw a 9-inning, complete-game shutout in the 6-0 Kingston Township win, striking out 5 and allowing 11 hits. The Knights how trail - in the best-of- series.

Sims gave Kingston Township a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 11 hits over 9 innings.

"I thought we played a nice game," Sims told the Kingston Township Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
