Pivotal Game Goes to Host White Walkers, 3-1
The Buffalo White Walkers are one game away from a sweep after a 3-1 win over the visiting Toledo Stingers at Beyond the Wall today. White Walkers right-hander Dusty Fox was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball. Buffalo now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when center fielder Tom Smythe, who is tied for 8th in the SL with a .554 slugging percentage, hit a single. The White Walkers went on to win.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Buffalo manager Chris Lau.
