Battery Rally Past Dirty Reds to Claim - Series Lead
Charleston second baseman Datu Lesaca rose to the occasion at Charleston Armory today, earning player of the game honors after driving the Battery to a crucial Game victory over the San Mateo Dirty Reds. Lesaca hit 2 home runs as the Battery took the 2-1 win to seize a - lead in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Lesaca hit a fastball from Mat Tengku for a solo home run. The Battery, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's a big deal," Lesaca said of the win. "If we had gone to 0- , we're pretty much out of it."
