The Oakland Oaks moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the visiting Buffalo White Walkers at Oakland Coliseum by a score of 6-2. Oaks designated hitter Obidiah Lewis was named player of the game after he was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win gives the Oaks a - advantage in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

With the game tied, 1-1, in the bottom of the third, Lewis had a key at-bat for Oakland. With the bases empty, Lewis, who is tied for 6th in the SL with a .988 OPS, hit a solo home run off Dusty Fox, making the score 2-1, Oaks.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Lewis told a Oakland Herald reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
