Seth, Screaming Eagles Too Much for Palladium Sox
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles defeated the Virginia Palladium Sox, 6-2, at Mercer Island Grounds. Mercer Island center fielder Sadiya Seth was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Adrik Mihalushkin got the win, improving to 10-1. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Mercer Island has an impressive 66-32 record.

Mercer Island took a 4-2 lead on Seth's 3rd triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which he hit off Wilson Valenzuela in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Mercer Island to the win.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Mercer Island manager António Molina.
