The Thunder Hawks had to overcome a fine performance from Lake Minnetonka pitcher Mototsune Rin to grab a 7-2 win at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Rin allowed no earned runs over 7 innings. Ft. Polk South reliever Juan Espinosa got the win, raising his record to 1-2. Mark Jacobson was tagged with the loss. Ft. Polk South has now won 4 straight, while the Love Boats have lost 4 in a row.

Justin Forbes had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth for the Thunder Hawks. Coming up with the bases loaded and Ft. Polk South trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.
