Brian Duncan never let San Bernardino get something going. The Mercer Island right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Screaming Eagles to a 3-1 win. Ryan Fry was credited with the save for Mercer Island, his 13th of the season. The Screaming Eagles own a robust 52-25 mark.
