The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats and Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks brought some excitement to Heron Field.

Ft. Polk South shortstop Raúl Colomo had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 11-3. The win was Dave Lawson's in relief. His record improves to 5-5. Carlos López took the loss for Lake Minnetonka.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the top of the fourth inning. That's when center fielder Roberto Baca drew a walk. The Thunder Hawks went on to win.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Ft. Polk South manager John Anderson.

Ft. Polk South is now 53-15, 8 games up in the Premier AA.
