Submarinos Get Road Win, 5-2
Amarillo and Montgomery met at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium in front of a lively crowd.

David Ferris helped his team muscle past the Montgomery Biscuits, 5-2. In the game, the Amarillo second baseman went 2 for 2 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Amarillo reliever Augusto Prats picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Richard Nudelman absorbed the loss.

Ferris came through with some timely hitting for Amarillo. With the score 2-1 in the top of the fifth and one down, Ferris hit a full count cutter for a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season made it 3-1, Amarillo.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Amarillo manager Seth Rice. "It's usually not just one thing."

Amarillo now sits in 5th place in the Menard's R at 48-44.
