Canonniers de Quebec Win at Sheridan, 7-2
|
The Sheridan Deer and Canonniers de Quebec brought some excitement to Sheridan Forest.
The Canonniers de Quebec relied on the hitting of center fielder Steve Burnett to stop the Sheridan Deer, 7-2. For the game, Burnett was 3-5 with a triple and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Mark Wells earned the win to go to 7-3. He allowed 2 earned runs on 3 hits, with 4 walks and 8 strikeouts.
