With first baseman Steve Hodge leading the charge, the Germantown Uruguayans defeated the Twinsburg Tigers, 4-1, at Dodge Field. Hodge was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. Mahine Paahana, credited with the win, is now 3-3. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4.1 innings. Earning his 4th save of the year was Eric O'Slattery.

Germantown used a timely hit from Jack Plumb to get the win. The third baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the first inning to put the Uruguayans on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Hodge told the Germantown Daily.

Germantown is now 30-48.
