Biscuits Need Extra Frames to Get Past Beavers
The Montgomery Biscuits took Northwest Territory pitcher Gonzalo Garibay's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Beaver Town. The final score had Montgomery getting past the Beavers, 5-4. Garibay went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 9. With the win, the Biscuits improved to 36-40.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Jason Middleton came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Northwest Territory pitcher Júlio Japón, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Montgomery on top, 5-4.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Middleton.
