The Maine Sea Dogs beat the Canonniers de Quebec, 9-0, at Sea Dogs Park. The Sea Dogs got a fine performance from catcher Michael Lindsey, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Maine reliever Jesús Gordini picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-0. Arthur Stevenson was collared with the loss. The Sea Dogs have an impressive 44-28 record.
Colton Pennington tagged a home run off Arthur Stevenson in the bottom of the first. His 2-run blast put the Sea Dogs on top, 2-0. In all, Pennington had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
