|
Right-hander António León mesmerized the Athletic Club KC U-21 while leading the Northwest Territory Beavers to a 10-0 victory. The Beavers, at 32-39, have now won 8 straight.
León's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 13 strikeouts in 7.2 innings while allowing 3 hits. León, who is tied for 5th in the 3R with a 1.00 WHIP, goes to 5-3 on the year with 84 strikeouts.
"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said León.
