The Maine Sea Dogs stymied the Sheridan Deer, 7-0, at Sheridan Forest. Colton Pennington, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Maine. Maine now sits in second place in the Menard's R at 26-14.
Early in the game, Pennington had a 3-run home run for Maine. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Sea Dogs on top, 3-0.
