The Capital Hill Interns got a strong performance from pitcher Henry Davis, who stymied the Montgomery offense en route to a 5-1 win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Davis went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 4-1. Capital Hill is now riding a 3-game win streak.
It could have been a different outcome for Capital Hill, had it not been for Buddy Patton, the former first round draft pick . Patton contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Capital Hill up, 4-0.
