Rodríguez, Ducks Get 5-0 Win
|
Manny Rodríguez never let the Fire get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Ducks to a 5-0 win. The Ducks improved to 52-41.
Rodríguez, a native of Tocumen, Panama, was dealing all game. He kept Franklin hitters off-balance, while giving the Ducks 8.1 quality innings. Rodríguez threw 94 pitches, allowing 1 hit and striking out 6.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Rodríguez said.
