Sea Dogs Reel Off Another Win
|
The Maine Sea Dogs defeated the Montgomery Biscuits, 6-2, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Maine shortstop Anthony Hollis was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. Rijk Blok got credit for the win, improving to 6-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. The Biscuits fall to 8-11 and continue to sputter in the early going.
Joe Frank helped out the Maine cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 5.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Maine manager Philippe Parmentier. "Our pregame was pretty good."
