Montgomery second baseman Shun Fukui was instrumental in his team's 10-3 win over the Northwest Territory Beavers. Fukui, who is tied for 4th in the 3R in bases on balls with 10, went 3-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Biscuits. Fernando Lujino picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-1. He struck out 3 in 6 innings. Michael Turner earned his 1st save in 1 tries.

Montgomery used the clutch hitting of Emílio Vivas to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to give the Biscuits the lead, 3-2. For the game, Vivas had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Vivas.

The loss drops Northwest Territory to 5-12.
