The Baby Blues had to overcome a good performance from Long Island pitcher Doug Ross to claim a 4-2 win at Ducks Park. Ross went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Quebec City is 4th in the Silver R with a record of 48-39.

Quebec City used the timely hitting of George Johnston to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was an important one.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Johnston told the Quebec City News.
