Rams Get Close Win Over Snowpeople
Both teams had their chances, but the Ladue Rams eventually prevailed at The Igloo.

Ellesmere Island got a terrific performance from pitcher Eric Blevins, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ladue Rams. Ladue won the The Igloo contest, 4-3. Blevins was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball. Ladue currently is in 6th place in the Silver R at 43-43.

Ladue used a timely hit from Ángel Gallarda to get the win. The center fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rams on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Ellesmere Island manager Billy Strauss said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
