Sheridan beat Northwest Territory at Sheridan Forest, eking out a 2-1 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher León Morán, who earned player of the game honors. Francisco González, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. With the win, Sheridan is 7-5.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Sheridan trailing 1-0, Danny Hensley hit a fastball from Gonzalo Garibay to center for a 2-run triple. Just like that, the Deer had a walk-off win.
