Biscuits CF Moore goes 4-for-5 in Win
|
The Montgomery Biscuits powered past the Germantown Uruguayans, 8-2, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Randy Moore was 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2, to lead the charge. Losses have been few and far between for the Uruguayans, who are now 7-2.
Montgomery used the timely hitting of Habib Othman to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Biscuits on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Othman. "But I have better dreams after a win."
