Saelices has 4 hit night as Harbor Whales Squeeze Past Northwest Territory
The Greenport Harbor Whales did just enough to sneak past the Northwest Territory Beavers, 5-4, at Beaver Town. Greenport third baseman Ángel Saelices earned player of the game honors. The win was Isacco Taricco's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Kimitada Shini took the loss for Northwest Territory. The loss drops Northwest Territory to 1-4.

Greenport used the timely hitting of Leonard Tucker to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Harbor Whales on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We've got a great group of guys," Tucker said, "and we're having fun right now."
