Biscuits Prevail, 3-2, Over Northwest Territory

The Montgomery Biscuits did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Northwest Territory Beavers at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Stephen McQueen, who captured player of the game honors. Erik Jackson nailed down his 1st save. Montgomery has a record of 1-1.
Montgomery took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Shun Fukui hit a 2-run double to make it 2-0, Biscuits.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Montgomery manager Félix Cruz said.
