The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople got a strong performance from pitcher Eric Blevins, who stymied the Hicksville offense en route to a 7-2 win at The Igloo. The 6th-place Snowpeople raised their record to 39-37.

Paul Sykes, who is tied for 7th in the SR in triples with 4, helped out the Ellesmere Island cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the second baseman was 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 runs.
