Snowpeople Rally For Late Win Over Ducks
The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople scored a 4-3 win versus the Long Island Ducks at The Igloo. Ellesmere Island right fielder Francisco Rocha nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Marcos Lucero earned the save for Ellesmere Island, his 3rd. Ellesmere Island, at 33-30, sits in 5th place in the Silver R.

Rocha was 3-5 with a home run and a double against the Ducks. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run that scored 1 and put Ellesmere Island in front, 4-3.
