Hicksville and Amarillo met at Ballpark of Henderson in front of a lively crowd.

Robbie Care had a big hand in Hicksville's 8-3 triumph over Amarillo. He rattled off 4 hits in 4 at-bats, scoring 2 times and knocking in 1 runs. For his performance, Care was named player of the game. Edgardo Costello earned the win for Hicksville. He lasted 6.1 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 10 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 2-0.

The Hounds grabbed the lead in the top of the fifth. With two out, Shi-yu Ting hit a 3-run home run off Leo Cassidy, putting Hicksville in front, 7-1. For Ting, it was his 4th home run of the season.
