The Nashville Outlaws took Charleston pitcher Miguel Angel Martínez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Charleston Armory. The final score had Nashville getting past the Battery, 3-2. Martínez went 8.1 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 7. The Outlaws improve their record to 17-17 with the win over Charleston.

Nashville used the bat of Dale Goodman to get the win. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Outlaws ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it did its damage.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Charleston manager Matt Hunt, "let me know."
