Sousa Now 3-2 After Subduing Baby Blues

The Long Island Ducks racked up a win at Dylan Park, bumping off the Quebec City Baby Blues, 2-1. Jim Sousa, who started for Long Island, pitched effectively for his team. Earning his 14th save for Long Island was Kenny Pollock. The Ducks bumped their record to 28-19 with this latest triumph.
The Ducks liked what they saw from Sousa. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Baby Blues to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 7.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Long Island manager Martin Stewart said.
