Baby Blues Come Back Late, Nip Snowpeople

The Quebec City Baby Blues took Ellesmere Island pitcher Luis Rodríguez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Igloo. The final score had Quebec City getting past the Snowpeople, 5-4. Rodríguez went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 6. Quebec City now has a 3-game win streak.
Quebec City used the bat of Todd Walker to get the win. The pinch hitter hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 5-3. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it did its damage.
"This was a good win," said Walker.
