Whipp Sensational for Snowpeople
In a low-scoring tilt between the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople and the Long Island Ducks, Millard Whipp was the difference-maker. The Ellesmere Island right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-1 win. The Snowpeople bumped their record to 18-10 with this latest triumph.

Whipp, who was born in Bisbee, Arizona, threw 102 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
