Hounds Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
The Hounds had to overcome a fine performance from Moose Jaw pitcher Mario Ramírez to grab a 5-3 win at Foresters Stadium. Ramírez allowed no earned runs over 6.1 innings. The Hounds, now 10-4, have been on a roll in the early going.

Hicksville used the timely hitting of Juan Alonso to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Hounds on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Alonso told the Hicksville Chronicle.
