The Redwood Rhinos picked up a win at The Zoo, knocking off the Indiana Lead Sox, 8-2. On the mound for Redwood was right-hander Ron Plummer, who played a pivotal role in the win. At 39-49, the Rhinos are currently 8th in the Premier R.

Will Ross was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Redwood. The 20-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Kent Copeland. It was his 23rd walk of the season.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Ross said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
