Octopi Lose, 6-3, at The Lead Mine
Indiana right-hander Armando Sosa made an effective start against the Ogallala Octopi at The Lead Mine, leading his team to a 6-3 win. The save went to Tony Ruvenacht, his 12th this season. The 5th-place Lead Sox have won 4 straight games.

Doug Pollock had a big run-scoring double for the Lead Sox in the bottom of the second inning. With Indiana leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Jorge Romas and stroked the double to left. It was his 20th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lead Sox ahead, 2-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Pollock told the Indiana Chronicle.
