Octopi Walk It Off for 42nd Win of Season

Starting pitcher Dave Lewis pitched well enough to help the Ogallala Octopi beat the Valley View Cougars by the score of 4-3. Ogallala reliever Roberto Trevino was credited with the win, to go to 3-2. Santiago Rivera took the loss for Valley View. Ogallala is now 42-40, Valley View 34-48.
Kunitaro Nii was the walk-off hero for Ogallala. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Octopi pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
