The Surprise Shockers topped the Ogallala Octopi, 9-3, with left fielder George Lewis playing a big role. Lewis was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs for the Shockers in the win. Surprise is now 41-32, Ogallala 35-38.

Surprise relied on the hitting of Joe Wolfe to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Shockers on top, 9-2. For the game, Wolfe had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Lewis told the Surprise Gazette.
