Late Rally by Cajuns Secures Win
The Crowley Cajuns defeated the Ogallala Octopi, 5-4, at Titans Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Crowley was first baseman Dustin Damitz. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. Crowley reliever Shawn Umble picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Esteban De La Cruz shouldered the loss. Crowley has a 4-game win streak, while Ogallala has lost 4 in a row.

David Knight found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Ogallala hurler Esteban De La Cruz, the 21-year-old shortstop drew a walk, driving in 1 run. His 23rd walk of the season put the Cajuns on top, 5-4.

"I was a little disappointed," said Ogallala manager Luis Muñóz. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
