Surprise right-hander Vicente Castro was sensational in shutting out the Valley View Cougars, 3-0. Dan Seymour notched his 13th save in 14 chances. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Valley View.
Castro imposed his will on the Cougars, scattering 6 hits over 8 innings while striking out 9. The right-hander upped his season record to 5-3.
