Valley View Cougars starter Roberto Morales was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Crowley Cajuns, 7-3. The Cougars improve their record to 24-27 with the win over Crowley.

Valley View used the timely hitting of Paco Guzmán to capture the win. The catcher stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Cougars on top, 7-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Morales said.
