The Ogallala Octopi did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Indiana Lead Sox at The Lead Mine. Nobody did more than pitcher Voitto Niskakangas, who captured player of the game honors. Ogallala reliever Chang-weon Sin picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Armando Sosa was saddled with the loss. With the win, the Octopi have a record of 25-24.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when first baseman Zane Atkins drew a walk. The Octopi went on to win.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Niskakangas.
