Otters Edge Past Rhinos, 4-3
|
The Tulsa Otters picked up a win at Ballpark of Hughesville, knocking off the Redwood Rhinos, 4-3. On the mound for Tulsa was left-hander Darren Henry, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Otters saw their record improve to 20-20.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Tulsa designated hitter Brian Ross, facing Jake Sewell, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Otters the 4-3 win.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Henry said.
