The Ogallala Octopi handed the Surprise Shockers a sound defeat, 11-2, at Nebraska Aquarium. John Paul was a main contributor to the win. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Ogallala. Dave Lewis, credited with the win, is now 6-2. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 6.1 innings. With the win, Ogallala goes to 19-17, while the Shockers fall to 21-15.

Paul put Ogallala up, 5-1, when he hit a 2-run home run off Jorge Bigro in the bottom of the third. His 1st home run of the season helped the Octopi capture the win.
