Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Aroosha Zafar, the Crowley Cajuns defeated the Tulsa Otters, 7-5. Zafar went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times for the Cajuns. Crowley reliever Derek Craggs picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. José Rodríguez shouldered the loss. Picking up the save was Héctor Sanz, his 6th.

Crowley used the timely hitting of José Bermúdez to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cajuns ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I'm a bit of a clubhouse prankster," said Zafar. "But it's all business when we're on the field."

The Cajuns saw their record improve to 20-15.
